BURLINGTON, N.C. – A 24-year-old man is in custody related to the death of a 7-year-old boy who was shot in Burlington. The Burlington Police Department said they developed probable cause to arrest Syquan Jaheem Mason-Rhames for first-degree murder in the death of Mason Jenkins. They said they’ve executed two search warrants in relation to the investigation.
