Meet Heidi and Lily Mae; the two bonded dogs were abandoned on Thursday night and left tied to the dock outside of the North Baldwin Animal Shelter in Bay Minette, Alabama. It could have been a tragedy when one of the dogs was able to slip out of her leash and was caught running precariously down a busy highway.
