ShotSpotter turned off in Junction neighborhood, residents feel unsafe

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – ShotSpotter in a Toledo neighborhood has gone silent and it’s leaving residents concerned. ShotSpotter is the technology that helps police detect when a gun has been fired. City Council only approved cash to cover the final year of it’s contract and that leaves one of the three neighborhoods with coverage off the radar.
