Lanes reopen after vehicle fire on San Mateo Bridge, says CHP

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KRON) — California Highway Patrol (CHP) Redwood City said all lanes have reopened after a vehicle fire on San Mateo Bridge Monday evening.

At 5:22 p.m., CHP advised commuters to expect delays on San Mateo Bridge SR-92 Eastbound, west of the Toll Plaza, as local firefighters handled a burning truck. At the time, only lanes 1 and 2 were open.

Around 6:30 p.m., CHP posted an update, confirming that the situation was all clear.
