Eight Bulls Escape From Rodeo, Prompting Public Warnings

Authorities in Massachusetts are warning the public about a potential bull on the loose , after eight escaped from a rodeo in North Attleboro, about 40 miles south of Boston on Sunday.

The incident occurred during a one-day event at the local Emerald Square Mall, when firefighters working security detail witnessed eight bulls escape from their pen around 12:30 p.m. From there, the animals were seen running through the parking lot and managing to leap over a fence surrounding the perimeter of the event. The bulls were then said to have fled south from the parking lot towards the woods behind a nearby restaurant and brewhouse.

One of the bulls was caught shortly after escaping, with fire and police authorities searching for the remaining seven. Later that afternoon, six of the remaining seven bulls were found stuck behind a fence at a residence, and rodeo employees managed to safely corral the animals into a trailer without further incident. No injuries have yet been reported and the event is currently under investigation.
