LUBBOCK, Texas — Jayton Schools and Rise Academy were two schools in the South Plains named National Blue Ribbon Schools .
Jayton Schools and Rise Academy received Exemplary High Performing Schools for the 2024 school year.
Frenship ISD to host ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome newest elementary school
The two schools were among the 31 schools awarded in Texas and 356 nationwide. Of the over 300 public schools that received the designation, 56% of schools had 40% or more disadvantaged students.
