Kalamazoo man charged with bank robbery

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — A man has been charged with robbing a Kalamazoo bank branch over the weekend.

Malcolm Graham, 36, of Kalamazoo, was arraigned Monday on four counts of bank robbery and a count of unarmed robbery, police say.

The robbery happened just before 10 a.m. Saturday at a bank on Portage Street near East Cork Street. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says a man went into the bank and demanded money. There was an argument and he forcibly took cash from the tellers and ran away.

Graham was arrested Saturday afternoon. At arraignment, his bond was set at $75,000.
