RICHARDSON, Texas – The University of Texas at Dallas has canceled class for the remainder of Monday due to a power outage, the school said. Just after 6 p.m., UT Dallas said in an X (formally Twitter) post that multiple buildings on campus had been affected by a power outage. The phone lines were down at the UT Dallas police department and the school urged students with emergencies to call 911 or contact the Richardson Police Department directly.
