WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – The cause of a fire Saturday at a home in Lake Summerset remains under investigation, according to the Durand Fire Department. Investigators report a neighbor called for help around 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 21, after flames engulfed a home in the 1300 block of Chadwick Court.
