District Attorney’s Office confirms Milford woman who suffered stab wounds has died

MILFORD Authorities said Monday that a woman who was stabbed last week in what they have described as a domestic incident inside a South Bow Street home has died.

The Worcester District Attorney’s Office has identified the woman as Maria Tereza Mayancela Loja, 32, of Milford. Her husband, Luis Osvaldo Guaman Loja, 34, also of Milford, had previously died from injuries suffered in the same incident.

The District Attorney’s Office has not provided details on what it believes happened, but officials said last week that Mayancela Loja was a victim of domestic violence.
