Man beaten on Bronx street for jewelry and cash

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Tuesday released surveillance footage of a trio of suspects sought for violently robbing a man of jewelry and cash on a Bronx street last month.

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, a 38-year-old man was approached by the three suspects who punched and kicked him, causing him to fall to the ground, police said.

The attackers then stole his watch, necklace, bracelet and cash before fleeing on foot towards Boston Road.

The victim refused medical attention on scene.
