HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – Some light rain showers linger over mainly southern and eastern areas this morning, but will be clearing out by mid-morning. Meanwhile, clouds will be slowly clearing out through the area. One area that may still see some rain this afternoon is Eastern Nebraska where some pop-up showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible. But most areas will trend toward more sun in the afternoon. Winds will be a little breezy out of the north northwest with occasional gusts over 20 mph. High temperatures this afternoon will reach the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s. Skies will completely clear up tonight and winds will die down. This will lead to a slightly chillier morning tomorrow morning with lows in the mid to upper 40s.
