SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Tuesday is expected to be the hottest day of the week for Northern California as some temperatures may reach triple digits. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said Tuesday’s high for downtown Sacramento is 100 degrees, slightly higher than Monday’s high of 98 degrees. The average for this time of year is 87 degrees.
