Top 10 Portland-metro cideries of all time, according to Yelp

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) – As September 22 marked the first day of fall, Yelp curated a list of the best Portland-area cideries of all time.

Yelp identified the best cideries on a number of factors including the total volume and ratings of reviews.

1. Cider Bite

Located in Portland’s Pearl District, Cider Bite scored the number one spot on Yelp’s list.

Cider Bite is a self-described “first of its kind cider house in Oregon,” offering a rotating tap of 32 hard ciders and beer along with non-alcoholic sparkling apple cider.

The cider house, established in 2015, explained on their Yelp profile, “American craft cider has been enjoying something of a renaissance these days. A market once dominated by British imports, like Magners and Strongbow, now has plenty of stateside competition. It was only a matter of time before someone opened a bar in downtown Portland devoted entirely to hard cider.”

Tap options include baked apple cider from D’s Wicked, Bad Apple from 2 Towns, and Bauman’s bourbon vanilla cider.
