LAFAYETTE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — New York State Police were called to an SUV hitting a pedestrian on US-11 in LaFayette around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21.

State police say a 30-year-old man from Syracuse was talking to a driver in a vehicle on the roadway when a dark-colored SUV drove by and hit him.
The SUV fled the scene and the man was taken to Upstate Hospital with serious injuries to his lower extremities, said NYSP.
