MADISON, Wis. — A man was found unresponsive in downtown Madison and died late Monday night, police said.
Madison police and EMS personnel were called to the 500 block of North Pinckney Street at around 11:15 p.m. Monday for a report of a man found unresponsive. The man is believed to have been in his 50s.
Life-saving measures were attempted but proved unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead.
Police said multiple people in the area were contacted and interviewed as part of an investigation. As of Tuesday morning, there is believed to be no threat or danger to the public.
