August 27, 1930 – September 14, 2024 – Robert Williamson of Aurora, Oregon, passed away peacefully at the age of 94. He leaves behind his wife, Betty after celebrating 75 years of marriage. He is the proud father of 3 children, Billie Miller, Sally Gregory, and David Williamson, 2 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Robert established Milky Way Dairy in 1950 outside of St. Paul. Oregon and farmed the land for most of his life. His son followed in his footsteps and continues to farm the land and operate the dairy.
During Robert’s lifetime he was an active member of North Marion School Board and formed a cooperative working relationship with Oregon State University to foster dairy improvements. In his retirement years he and Betty would winter in Apache Junction, Arizona where they loved the sunshine.
