Boca Raton police on Monday identified the two victims who were killed in a shooting that was allegedly perpetrated by a Boynton Beach man who later fled to Georgia.

Police identified the two victims – described as one white male and one white female – following the notification of next of kin. The victims are Christopher Liszak, 49, and Chandler Dill, 32, both of Oakland Park, Broward County. Both were shot and killed Friday in the parking lot of the 365 Ocean Hotel on N. Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton.

The alleged shooter, De’Vante Moss, 30, of Boynton Beach, was arrested on Saturday after fleeing to Laurens County, GA, where he was pulled over by police and arrested. He has been held in the Laurens County Jail since his arrest, pending extradition. Boca Raton police said a photo of the suspect would be released once one was obtained from the out-0f-state agency.

According to police, Moss’ vehicle was connected to the double homicide that occurred just before 5 p.m. Friday. Witnesses on scene told officers the a suspect fled in a silver Jaguar, and through video surveillance, Boca Raton Police detectives determined the vehicle was no longer in the area. Detectives were, however, able to obtain the license plate number and the vehicle was entered into a nationwide law enforcement database as a wanted vehicle in connection with the homicide investigation.
