Missing man out of Petersburg ‘may be armed and possibly suicidal’

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A man missing out of Petersburg since Monday “may be armed and possibly suicidal,” according to the Petersburg Bureau of Police.

In a Sept. 24 missing person alert, police said 31-year-old Joshua Donovan was last seen at about 3 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 23. His last known location is the 300 block of Low Street in Petersburg, possibly driving a gray Honda Civic with Virginia plates reading ‘TNZ-9483.’

According to police, Donovan “may be armed and [is] possibly suicidal.”

Donovan, pictured above, is a white man with blue eyes and a beard. According to police, he has tattoos on his right arm. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, a white button-up shirt over a black t-shirt and black pants.
