Saints work out potential Erik McCoy replacement after tough news emerges before Falcons matchup

The New Orleans Saints are staying active from a roster building standpoint. After suffering some notable injuries in Week 3 against the Philadelphia Eagles, they’re getting busy working out some players.

Allen is a veteran who could make sense for New Orleans. They may choose to play Lucas Patrick at center again against Atlanta, but they’ll need depth regardless.

Keep an eye on those guard additions as well. Cesar Ruiz got banged up in the game against Philly, and they’ll need depth there with Patrick sliding over to center – if that’s the case again.

Falcons will be missing their starting center in week 4, too

Both teams will not have their starting snapper on offense. Both players are key pieces to each offensive line. Both tough blows.

For New Orleans, they need Taliese Fuaga to stay consistent at left tackle and Trevor Penning to step up opposite him.
