DES MOINES, Iowa – A Des Moines woman is sitting in the Polk County Jail Tuesday night, accused of leaving her 5-year-old son alone in a camper and driving drunk. Court records show Kelsey Cross crashed into a parked car in Polk City Sunday. When officers arrested her, they say she resisted and kicked officers in their heads.
