CHESAPEAKE, Va. – The City of Chesapeake put out a warning on X to tell voters they may be receiving election forms in the mail that they haven’t requested. Voter registration applications or absentee ballot applications are being sent out by a DC-based nonprofit organization called the Center for Voter Information (CVI), which is not affiliated with the Chesapeake Voter Registrar’s Office or the Virginia Department of Elections.
