Gregg County judge gives Florida man 10 years for 2019 weed bust

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) – A Florida man is going to prison after a Tuesday court hearing in Gregg County for a 2019 weed bust. Marvin Ralston Wynter, 50, of Port Saint Lucie, was arrested on Jan. 20, 2019, after he and a codefendant were found with 90 pounds of marijuana candies and nearly 200 pounds of marijuana during a Gregg County traffic stop. Wynter submitted an open plea of guilt in Judge Alfonso Charles’ court Tuesday and was given a 10-year prison sentence.
