WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Coastal Bringing Up Down Syndrome is set to host its Cape Fear Buddy Walk fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 5. According to the event announcement, the event will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Legion Stadium, 2149 Carolina Beach Road, and proceeds will support programs and services for those in the local area with Down syndrome and their families.
