Jay Haynes’ life sure has taken a turn over the last few years. Two years ago, Haynes was playing high-school ball at Handley in Roanoke, Ala. Several weeks into his senior season, he didn’t have an offer, or even a recruiting profile. Everything changed midway through that season, when Haynes rushed for 476 yards on 30 carries against fellow 4A school, Jacksonville – the second-most yards in a game in state history.
