Raleigh woman arrested in Kinston for DWI, possession of drugs

KINSTON, N.C. (WNCT) — A Raleigh woman has been charged with a DWI and possession of cocaine in Kinston.

On Tuesday morning, A-Squad officers directed a routine stop for motor vehicle violations with 50-year-old driver Jennifer Hutchens. During the stop, officers suspected that Hutchens was impaired, leading to a DWI investigation.

During the investigation, officers spotted drug paraphernalia and an open container of alcohol. She was then arrested for DWI, Possession of Schedule II and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Hutchens was placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a secured bond.
