Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold

(WHTM) — A Pennsylvania Lottery retailer sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million on Monday.

The Lottery says the ticket matched the five white balls for the Monday, September 23 drawing, 15-21-25-37-45, but not the red Powerball 19, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.

The Sak Traders Inc. locations at 3670 Richmond St. in Philadelphia will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Winning tickets purchased at a Lottery retailer should immediately be signed on the back.
