Argument Ends With 77-Year-Old Man Stabbing At Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center: Police

The Montgomery County Department of Police is seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to identify and locate a man wanted for stabbing a senior man in the forehead.

An alert was issued by investigators are they continue to investigate a stabbing in late August that was reported in the entrance of the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in the 7900 block of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring.

The incident was reported at around 2:20 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, when the suspect got into an argument with a 77-year-old man over property, which escalated and came to its conclusion when he pulled out a knife and stabbed him in the forehead before fleeing the area.

In the video, the man can be seen peeking up at the camera before violently assaulting his victim.

Investigators say that the victim – who has not been identified – was rushed to an area hospital for treatment and evaluation of what were described as serious injuries.

Police described the person-of-interest as being a Black man in his 20s or 30s, with short black locs, wearing a black shirt, a long gray scarf, light colored pants, a watch and black shoes, and armed with a folding knife.
