Batman Day 2024 at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

On Saturday, 9/21, I was honored to attend a once-in-a-lifetime event at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood. You see not only was it Batman Day 2024, but it was also the 85th anniversary of the Caped Crusader. With the recent premiere of The Penguin on Max and the anticipation for Joker 2, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect for a Batman-themed extravaganza.

The special evening began with a VIP behind-the-scenes tour of all things Batman, before getting an intimate look at the brand-new Batman exhibit. The all-new display showcases original costumes and props, including the Batmobiles from the films. We also got the chance to light the Bat-Signal! As a lifelong Batman fan, I was absolutely blown away by the attention to detail and the passion that went into creating this exhibit. Seeing the original props and the iconic costumes up close was a dream come true.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the special screening of Tim Burton’s classic Batman film, starring Michael Keaton, Jack Nicholson, and Kim Basinger. I’ve loved this movie since seeing it in the theater when I was 9. But watching it after taking the VIP tour and learning inside knowledge of the film, its impact on Warner Brothers, and all comic book movies after that, made this a magical experience.
