(WIFR) – Despite statistics from the FBI showing a drop in crime across the country, the perception in the eyes of many Americans is that violence is growing. The Federal Bureau of Investigation says between 2022 and 2023 crime across the nation dropped about 3%. But a study from Gallop finds that nearly 80% of Americans believe crime is on the rise.
