Scottsdale high school placed on lockdown as police respond to threat

PHOENIX – A Scottsdale high school was placed on lockdown Wednesday morning in response to an unspecified threat, authorities said. “We have numerous police units at Chaparral High School related to a threat made to the school. The school is on lockdown and officers are actively clearing the campus,” the Scottsdale Police Department said in a social media post.
