ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) – A Rhode Island man charged in connection with an officer-involved shooting in Vermont back in July will continue to be held without bail. It started as a chase with police in New Hampshire and spilled over into Vermont, where Brenden Sackal, 30, opened fire on troopers in Burke.
