Ballet and the Beasts

Friday, Sept 27, 6 p.m. it’s a free evening of enchanting dance with the animals at the Montgomery Zoo , 2301 Coliseum Parkway, courtesy of Montgomery Ballet. Guests performances by Montgomery Symphony Orchestra (Quartet) and Troy University’s Dance Department. Performances show a world where classical ballet meets beloved fairy tale characters. While admission is free, VIP seating is available for $25 — includes a seat, table and a beverage.

Skate Spooktacular with Montgomery Roller Derby

Join Montgomery Roller Derby (MRD) for the last bout of the year as they host a Skate Spooktacular against Middle Georgia Derby Demons. Skate your way on over to join them for a bout on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 6 p.m.  The event will be held at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl , 220 Hall St, Montgomery. Doors open at 5 p.m.

Jazz in the Garden

RNB & Blues Picnic Group and District 3 Marche Johnson present Jazz in the Garden on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 2-8 p.m. This free event will be hosted in the picturesque Botanical Gardens in Oak Park, 1010 Forest Ave., Montgomery. Bring your friends and family and be prepared for a laid-back, fun afternoon in the garden with smooth jazz music.
