ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The Great Forest Park Balloon Race had record-setting attendance over the weekend. According to race organizers, nearly 150,000 spectators gathered for the two-day event, which included The Glow and Race, at the Emerson Central Fields in Forest Park. Fifty balloons participated in the Hare and Hound-style race.
