Wells Fargo Emptied the Business Accounts of 12-Year-Old CEO, Zoe Oli

Beautiful Curly Me’s CEO and Founder Zoe Oli discovered her business accounts had been closed and emptied over the weekend.

12-Year-Old Small Business owner Zoe Oli got the biggest surprise of her life over the weekend when she discovered her business’s accounts had been closed and emptied by Wells Fargo with no notice or explanation.

After contacting Wells Fargo, Zoe discovered the business’s accounts had been closed due to not having a physical address. Wells Fargo stated a check would be issued for the balances that were in the accounts. Wells Fargo also said it could take up to 2 weeks for Beautiful Curly Me to receive their funds.

Beautiful Curly Me is an Atlanta-based toy and media company founded by 12-year-old Zoe when she was six. They make dolls, puzzles, and books to inspire black and brown girls.

Zoe created the Beautiful Curly Me brand to encourage young girls to love themselves and be confident in their skin after she learned to be confident and love her skin.

Zoe wants to do good therefore for every doll that is purchased one is given to an underserved girl.
