Pennsylvania State Police say they have identified a man accused of carjacking an 87-year-old man and taking his dog in the process.
Troopers say Kenneth Crider of Poolesville, Maryland faces robbery, theft and other charges.
He’s accused of stealing Willard Martz’s 2016 silver Ford Focus (License Plate #: KVR 6440) on Monday morning outside of the Tractor Supply in East Huntingdon Township.
10-year-old Lucky was inside the car at the time as well.
Crider reportedly took the victim’s keys and took off toward Route 819.
Surveillance footage from the Walmart in Connellsville shows Crider going into the store less than an hour after stealing the vehicle.
State Police say Crider let the dog out to use the bathroom, before putting the dog back inside the vehicle.
A short time later, Crider left the Walmart.
