Search underway for missing woman last seen on 10th Street

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department is asking for the public’s help with finding a missing woman.

Police say Alisha Mathis, 37, was last seen in the 700 block of 10th Street on Aug. 13 at about 5 p.m. Mathis was reported missing on Sept. 19.

Mathis stands at 5-foot-3 and weighs 130lbs. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911, the CPD Special Victims Unit at (706) 225-3449, or lead investigator Cpl. Adil Zaman at (706) 225-3488.
