PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. ( DC News Now ) — Police said a woman is dead after she was found shot inside a home in Fairmount Heights late Tuesday night.
The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said around 11 p.m. on Sept. 24, officers responded to a shooting in the 500 block of 62nd Avenue.

There, police found a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside the residence.
She died at the scene. Her name has not been released at this time.
Details remain limited as police are working to determine a motive and establish suspect(s) connected to the shooting.
