PEARL, Miss. – As Hurricane Helene churns in the Gulf of Mexico, Entergy crews are mobilizing. Entergy Mississippi crews are heading toward Florida, where the storm is expected to become at least a Category 3 hurricane when it makes landfall late Thursday. Helene became a tropical storm on Tuesday and intensified to a hurricane on Wednesday.
