UMC Health System on Wednesday announced the grand opening of its new 24/7 Urgent Care Clinic, which officially opens its doors to the public on Thursday.
The clinic, located at 11102 Headquarters Drive – near 110th Street and Slide Road behind UMC Health & Wellness Hospital – is set to provide the Lubbock community with accessible, high-quality urgent care services around the clock, according to a news release from UMC.
Community leaders, healthcare professionals, and residents gathered to celebrate this significant milestone during a grand opening event. The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured remarks from UMC Health System’s Chief Executive Officer, Mark Funderburk, who highlighted the clinic’s commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
“We are thrilled to expand our services and bring convenient, top-notch urgent care to the Lubbock community,” said Funderburk. “Our new clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals ready to meet the urgent medical needs of our patients.”
