KALAMAZOO, MI – A man accused of an overnight stabbing spree that wounded three people in downtown Kalamazoo in mid-September will undergo a mental competency evaluation. William Sylvester Richardson, 33, appeared in Kalamazoo County District Court for a probable cause conference on Wednesday, Sept. 25, where he was referred to undergo the evaluation.
