When Ance Jones headed to work on the morning of July 8, 2020, he probably expected the same old routine. He surely didn’t figure it would be his last day alive. Ance, who was employed by Superior Environmental Solutions, was at the Rumpke Sanitary Landfill that day to dump sludge. The site, located in Hamilton County, north of Cincinnati, Ohio, is the largest landfill in the state and one of the largest landfills in the country.
