The current landscape of college sports is developing rapidly. With NIL deals growing each year, programs are luring top players with some big money to come and play football or basketball.

The top valuations are as much as $5 million, with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders at a $5.1 million valuation, per On3 . Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, Quinn Ewers, Arch Manning and Travis Hunter are all north of $2 million, as is LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne.

Money talks for college athletes now, and one Big 12 coach declared his program is in great shape going forward with the current landscape the way it is.

“This place is a gold mine,” UCF coach Gus Malzahn mentioned. “We have a young fan base. Were strength in numbers, The sky’s the limit. We’re working to get competitive in the NIL world, which SJ Tuohy’s done a super job every year.”

Malzahn and UCF are currently in the new-look Big 12 that includes Colorado, Utah, Arizona and Arizona State.
