MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A car theft over the weekend was caught on camera by people inside a restaurant on Highland Street in East Memphis. Memphis Police (MPD) released the footage Wednesday, showing three car thieves pulling off the crime in broad daylight. It happened about 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22 at 431 South Highland Street, the location of Char Restaurant.
