Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin Makes a Genius Proposal Involving Taylor Swift

While fans of Taylor Swift lucky enough to attend an Eras Tour show have enjoyed trading her signature friendship bracelets, there might be more to trade in the future.

Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin recently revealed that he pitched Swift trading cards to the singer around the time the “Fortnight” singer started attending her boyfriend Travis Kelce ‘s Kansas City Chiefs games.

“We should have Taylor Swift cards,” Rubin told People at a recent event. “We actually asked her a year ago.”

The 52-year-old explained that they “didn’t push too hard” about the possible business venture at the time. However, Rubin clarified that he would still “love to” create Swift trading cards if the singer were supportive of the idea.

He declared, “I mean a Taylor and Trav card together would be amazing.”

Considering how closely fans keep up with Swift as she attends Kelce’s games to cheer him on, it wouldn’t be too strange for the sports trading card world and Swift’s fandom to collide in this way.
