For many in the New York City area, the breaking news started before The View began airing, meaning fans were unable to watch any of this morning’s broadcast. Today’s episode would’ve marked the first taping since The View made history with President Joe Biden ‘s appearance on Wednesday (Sept. 25), making him the first sitting POTUS to participate in a live interview on the show. Plus, Wanda Sykes and West Wing stars Martin Sheen , Melissa Fitzgerald and Mary McCormack were set to appear on this morning’s episode.
