AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Maverick Boys & Girls Club of Amarillo invited the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday at 1 p.m. to celebrate its 90th anniversary.
According to officials, the event will kick off with the ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a reception at the Maverick Boys & Girls Club, located at 1923 S. Lincoln St.
“Since 1934, the Maverick Boys & Girls Club has been a cornerstone in the lives of countless young people, providing a safe place to learn, grow, and build friendships,” said officials. “This milestone is a testament to the generosity and support of the Amarillo community.
