LYNWOOD, Calif. ( KTLA ) – Two carjacking suspects were arrested after leading officers on a high-speed pursuit through Los Angeles County Wednesday night.
Two people were inside the stolen sedan that was reportedly taken at gunpoint from a victim at a gas station in Lynwood, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver was seen traveling over 100 miles per hour while weaving dangerously on the 105 and 710 Freeways.
The suspects drove to the LAX area before heading toward Long Beach as California Highway Patrol units trailed closely behind.
At times, the passenger was seen repeatedly sitting on the passenger-side windowsill while gesturing at officers and possibly taking photos and video of the chase on his phone.
After puncturing and eventually losing the front driver’s side tire, the suspects pulled over on the 710 Freeway near the Alondra Boulevard exit in Compton before ditching the vehicle and running away.
