JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – All eyes on Hurricane Helene today. While we will not see many direct impacts from this system, winds are expected to increase throughout the day with gusts up to 30 mph possible. We will see mostly sunny conditions this afternoon, but clouds will increase overnight as the remnants of Helene travel to our north. Gusty winds will stick around Friday, and a little rain will be possible along and north of I-20.
