MODESTO, Calif. – One person died and another was injured after a crash in Modesto on Thursday, according to police. The Modesto Police Department said the crash was reported around 2:30 p.m. at the Carpenter Road Overpass, south of South 9th Street. The crash involved a Nissan Rogue and a Toyota Tacoma.
